As a rule, this is a non-cutting separation process in which the separation process is carried out at high speed. The cutting time is so short that the material has hardly any time to develop heat in the cutting zone and therefore has no time to deform or solidify. This results in flat and smooth separating surfaces with virtually no deformation and no hardening at the edges. Due to the high speed, the separated components have significantly less deformation, show no relevant structural changes and have a uniform hardness distribution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adiabatic separation is particularly suitable for high annual quantities, in the range of 500,000 to 500 million units. The advantages of the chipless and coolant-free process lie in the short cycle times (up to 800 parts per minute). Almost all types of steel can be processed with this cutting technology. This also includes high-alloy and high-strength variants.
